According to the Health Insurance Act, the maximum price charged to the insured for a taxi ride reimbursable under health insurance is stipulated by a Government Decree. The maximum price is based on the funds available for reimbursements and the costs incurred from transportation, in such a way that it includes a reasonable profit. In addition to costs, the maximum price is based on the funds available for reimbursements. 

By government decree, the maximum prices will be increased by 4.5 percent, and the increase will apply to all prices mentioned in the decree at the same percentage. The prices will take effect on January 1, 2024.
